The official launch party took place at SOHO20 Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. During the event, contributors read and performed poems, songs and other texts related to Tool Book. Copies of the book were available for sale at $40 each. All profits benefitted Black Lives Matter, Callen-Lorde, Sylvia Rivera Law Project and Sane Energy Project.
